Signing in

KASQ has no passwords, so there is no password to forget, reset or leak. Start free and Log in open the same page: there is no separate sign-up form, and the first time you sign in your account is made. You sign in with your email address, with Google or Microsoft, or with an invite code if you were given one.

With your email address

This is the way in that always exists. Type your email address and KASQ sends you a six-digit code. Type the code back and you are in.

  • A code works for 10 minutes.
  • Five wrong tries and the code stops working; ask for a new one.
  • One address is sent at most five codes an hour.

It is a code rather than a link on purpose: a code still works when the email arrives on a different device from the one you are signing in on, which on a site it usually does.

With Google or Microsoft

Press Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the sign-in page. From the provider KASQ takes your email address and nothing else — no contacts, no calendar, no files.

With an invite code

If you were given an invite code — it looks like KASQ-XXXX-XXXX — there are two places it goes:

  • With your email address. When the page shows a box for an invite code under the address, type the code there as well. It is used the first time an address is seen, to make its account, and ignored after that.
  • On its own. Use an invite code instead signs you in with the code alone, with no account and no email address behind it.

Whether the page shows the invite-code box at all depends on how sign-in is set up at the time. If you have no code and the page does not ask for one, you do not need one.

When the code does not arrive

  • Check the spam or junk folder.
  • Check the address you typed: the page answers the same way for every address, so it cannot tell you whether one has an account.
  • Wait a minute and ask for a new code, remembering the limit of five an hour.

If it still does not come, email hello@kasq.uk.
