Kit check
Every sling, shackle and harness has a report somewhere in the cabin. Put them in one register the crew can check from a phone against the number on the kit.
No card, no expiry. Looking needs no account — using does.
In the office
Drop in the reports of thorough examination — PDFs, photographs of the labels on the kit itself, or the register you already keep in Excel. KASQ reads each page and shows you every row with the page it came from; nothing is published until you have looked. Publish, and you get a board for the wall with a QR code on it, a live register you can search, the certificates on file behind every item, and a copy as Excel. Thirty days before an examination runs out, again at fourteen, and on the day, one email per register names the items.
On site
A worker scans the board, types the number on the equipment, and reads whether it is in date — in English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian or Bulgarian — with the examiner's page under it. No account, no sign-in. If something looks wrong they say so, with a photograph. Only the office takes a thing out of service — and from that moment every phone on site reads OUT OF SERVICE — DO NOT USE.
What it never does
It never examines anything. A thorough examination is a competent person's work; this carries the report to the person standing next to the kit.
What it costs
One run counts as 5 of the Free plan's 30 questions a month — about 6 a month, free, no card. Reading a certificate is the counted part; the register, the board and the crew's phone page are free. All plans and prices →
