What every plan is built on
- Answers from checked documents. The site advisor answers from HSE guidance held on our side — CDM 2015 included — and every answer shows its sources.
- Nothing to install. A browser and a QR code — the site scans a board and is working. Office on a desk, site on a phone.
- Five languages on site. Every page a worker touches speaks English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian and Bulgarian — Russian too on toolbox talks and Take 5.
- Certificates read for you. Drop the examination reports in — KASQ reads them into a register, shows you its reading, and you correct any box before it is published.
- Checked at the kit, answered at the kit. A worker types the number on the sling and reads whether it is in date — and can report a fault with a photo, from where they stand.
- The office finds out on its own. Reports from the site land on the office screen without a refresh — and by email, or not, your choice.
- Reminders before the date, not after. Expiring certificates and examinations announce themselves.
- Fixes closed from the site, approved by the auditor. An action goes out by link, the foreman closes it with a photo, the walk's owner has the last word.
- As many sites as you run. Registers, walks and boards per project, each with its own code.
- Talks in the crew's language. A toolbox talk written from HSE guidance, with a sign-on sheet — ready to print in the language the crew actually speaks.
- Take 5 signed where the work is. The supervisor photographs the area and the filled sheets; a PDF per sheet reaches the office as the crew's own record of their check before work started — KASQ does not verify who filled it in or when — and nothing stays on the phone.
- Documents read against documents. A subcontractor's RAMS checked for what a good one needs, quoted in place — and on the Company plan, against the main contractor's CPP.
- Findings spoken, not typed. On an audit walk, say what you see in your own language — the words land in the box to be read and corrected before they are sent, and the audio is transcribed and discarded.
- Vibration checked by the worker holding the tool. They type their minutes and read their points — what is left, and when to stop — in their own language, on their own phone, and the page keeps nothing.
- HSE's arithmetic done for you. Noise added up HSE's way onto one signed A4 — and a dropped tool's consequences, with an exclusion zone to mark out.
- Yours, and private. Your registers leave your account only by the links and codes you hand out. Encrypted connections, and nightly encrypted backups.
- Take it with you. Every register downloads as a formatted Excel workbook; every walk as a PDF report.
A toolbox talk or RAMS review counts as 5 questions · a COSHH assessment as 5 + 5 (reading the data sheet, then the assessment) · a Kit check folder as 5 · a CPP check as 25 · reading a vibration tool manual as 5. The CPP check itself is the Company plan's; the 3 Strikes board is part of the Site register.
A question is counted only when KASQ does work for you — an answer, a document review, a cross-check. Unused questions do not roll over; the count starts again on the 1st of each month. An APPSTAR LTD product.
Paying, and stopping
- No VAT is added. APPSTAR LTD is not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay. Prices are in pounds sterling.
- Cancel whenever you like. Cancellation is in Stripe's own portal, where your invoices are. Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not refund part of a month or part of a year, and we do not charge you again after you cancel.
- Your records do not go when your plan does. An audit you removed from your list while paying is kept for six years — stopping paying does not shorten that. For 90 days after a plan ends, what you remove from your list is still kept under the plan you were paying for. Downgrading never locks a record: reading stays whole, only adding past the new plan's numbers is refused.
- Free stays free. No card, no trial that turns into a bill.
- What we will not do. We do not sell your data, we do not use your documents or photographs to train AI models, and there are no advertising or analytics companies in this product.
- KASQ is guidance, not a duty holder. Answers come from HSE guidance and legislation with their sources shown; your site rules, your RAMS, your permits and a competent person come first. Nothing here transfers a legal duty from you to us.
